Accessing Resources

KLS provide access to a wide range of resources; UKHSA and eligible OHID staff can access resources using the links below using their PHE laptop via the UKHSA network.

Staff not accessing resources from the UKHSA network will need to login using their OpenAthens account.
For more details on OpenAthens, including how to register, visit our OpenAthens page.

Do you work for a local authority? Find out more about resources available for you here.

If you are having problems accessing library resources, it is suggested that you try a different web browser other than Google Chrome. Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge should already be installed and accessible on all PHE laptops. You can also request Firefox from IT if needed.

If you are having problems using the links on our webpages, our resources can be accessed via OpenAthens. Sign in using your credentials (if you need an OpenAthens account, register here), and then select the resource you require once logged in, under the ‘My Resources’ section.

If problems persist please contact Knowledge and Library Services. When you contact us, it would be helpful if you could include what you are trying to access, what browser you are using and any relevant screenshots.
