Evidence Syntheses

What is an Evidence Synthesis?

Evidence Syntheses are co-produced by the Evidence and Evaluation Team and Knowledge and Library Services. The evidence is systematically identified, synthesised and critically appraised using transparent methods. These syntheses follow robust review processes but are simplified in comparison to a full systematic review in order to produce information more quickly.

Can I ask for an Evidence Synthesis to be produced?

It usually takes about four months to complete an Evidence Synthesis once the protocol is finalised. All requests are considered but important issues will be prioritised. For more information about the Evidence Syntheses, and how to request them, please contact Caryl Beynon.
