Support for DHSC Office of Health Improvement and Disparities staff
UKHSA KLS will continue to provide access to resources and professional library services to former PHE staff working in OHID as part of transitional arrangements agreed between DHSC and UKHSA, until 30 April 2022.
Please note that staff who have joined OHID from DHSC, or have been appointed from 1 October 2021 onwards, are ineligible to use UKHSA KLS and should continue to use the DHSC Knowledge Centre. Contact them at email@example.com or email firstname.lastname@example.org
How do I access UKHSA KLS?
You will continue to use your existing PHE laptop and email address to access all the same tools, applications, data and files that you use today, including UKHSA Knowledge and Library Services. You must use your PHE email address to contact us via email@example.com
How do I access UKHSA electronic public health evidence resources?
In the same way as you did in PHE. Subject to publisher agreement, you will retain access to all of the resources previously available to you but you must use your PHE laptop to access journals, databases and ebooks.
Will my PHE OpenAthens account still work?
PHE OpenAthens accounts will be renamed as UKHSA OpenAthens accounts on 1 October but this will not affect you using your account which will still work as long as you keep your PHE email address as the email associated with the account.
